Highlights are adding sections of a lighter colour(s) to your hair. Lowlights are adding sections of a darker colour(s) to your hair.
Highlight or Lowlight Streaks[]
Thicker than regular highlights or lowlights.
Highlight or Lowlight Chunks[]
Thicker than streaks and in less quantity. This technique can be as little as one chuck of hair dyed to another colour.
Ombré or Balayage Highlights or Lowlights[]
Ombré highlights or lowlights are smaller sections of hair using the Ombré technique.
Babylights[]
Very fine, delicate and subtle blonding highlight technique. It gives a natural or naturally lightened in the sun look and is low maintenance.
Underlights[]
Also known as Peek-a-Boo hair, is when highlights, lowlights or coloured streaks are hidden under the base layers of the head. Usually only seen when hair is pulled up in an updo.
Spashlights[]
A combination of ombré and highlighting a section of your hare horizontally rather than vertically. This creates a halo effect in the bang, around the crown, etc.
